This Privacy Policy describes how Veezavee ("Veezavee," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you access or use the Veezavee website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"). Veezavee is an exclusive, video-first dating platform available to verified adult members in the United States.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Services. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in our Terms of Service.
The short version: We collect only what we need to run the platform, protect our members, and improve the experience. We do not sell your personal information. We do not show ads. Your videos and photos are DRM-protected — no one can download or screenshot them.
We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use the Services, and information we receive from trusted third parties.
We may receive information from identity verification providers, payment processors, analytics providers, fraud-prevention partners, and communications platforms. Key third-party service providers include:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing and subscription management |
| Agora | Real-time live video calls within the platform |
| SightEngine | Real-time AI video content moderation |
| AWS (Amazon Web Services) | Cloud storage (video and photo hosting with signed URLs) |
| Twilio | SMS verification and messaging |
| Brevo | Waitlist and member email communications |
| Supabase | Database and authentication infrastructure |
Required disclosure under the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act (CUBI), Tex. Bus. & Com. Code Ch. 503. This section also applies to biometric data practices relevant to members in other states with biometric privacy laws.
As part of our optional identity verification process, Veezavee (or our certified third-party verification partner) may collect, store, and use biometric identifiers — including facial geometry data derived from a live selfie or liveness check submitted during verification. Live 15-second video introductions recorded within the platform may also contain biometric information.
Purpose: Biometric identifiers are collected solely to confirm that the person submitting verification materials matches the government-issued ID provided, to prevent fake profiles, and to maintain platform integrity. They are never used for any commercial purpose beyond this.
Written Consent Before Collection: Before any biometric identifier is collected, you will be presented with an in-app consent screen that clearly states what data is being collected, why, and for how long. Your affirmative tap of "I Agree" constitutes your written consent under CUBI and occurs before any collection begins. You may decline identity verification — it is optional — and your decision will not affect your ability to use the platform, though your profile will not display a Verified badge.
To submit questions or requests about your biometric data, email hello@joinveezavee.com with subject line "Biometric Data Request."
We use the information we collect to:
Veezavee currently operates exclusively in the United States. Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on: performance of our contract with you; your consent (which you may withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services; and compliance with legal obligations.
If we expand beyond the United States in the future, we will update this section to address applicable frameworks such as GDPR or UK GDPR at that time.
Your profile content — including your live 15-second video, display name, age, approximate distance, and any prompts you add — is visible to other verified members consistent with your settings and the platform's matching logic. Content sent in private messages is visible only to you and the recipient, subject to moderation review.
We share information with vendors that help us operate the Services (listed in Section 2.3 above). These vendors are contractually required to use the information only to provide services to us and may not use it for their own commercial purposes.
We may disclose information when we believe, in good faith, that disclosure is necessary to: comply with applicable laws, legal process, or governmental requests (including subpoenas and court orders); enforce our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines; detect, investigate, or prevent fraud, security, or technical issues; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Veezavee, our members, or others — including to prevent or report suspected crimes.
If Veezavee is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice consistent with applicable law.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for research, reporting, or similar purposes.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not share your data with advertisers. Veezavee products are ad-free.
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our agreements.
When you delete your account, your profile and associated content are removed from member-facing surfaces of the Services on a rolling schedule. Certain information — including moderation records, financial transaction records, and records required by law — may be retained for longer periods as required or permitted by applicable law.
Identity verification data processed by our third-party verification partner is not retained on Veezavee servers after the verification check is complete.
Consistent with the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act (CUBI), any biometric identifiers collected in connection with identity verification will be permanently and irreversibly destroyed no later than the earlier of: (a) 3 years from the date of collection; or (b) 1 year after the purpose for which the identifier was collected has been fulfilled — including upon successful verification completion, failed verification, or account deletion, whichever occurs first. Our third-party verification partner's retention practices are governed by their own CUBI-compliant data destruction policies, which we contractually require them to maintain and enforce.

Note for attorney review: The TDPSA's applicability thresholds (100,000+ consumers/year, or 25,000+ consumers with 25%+ revenue from data sales) may not be met at launch. However, proactive compliance is included here to avoid retrofitting the policy at scale and because biometric data practices under CUBI apply independently of TDPSA thresholds.
The Services are intended solely for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. All members are required to confirm their age during registration, and identity verification is available to confirm age compliance.
