Terms of Service

Attorney review recommended before final publication. These Terms include a mandatory arbitration clause and class action waiver (Section 22). Governing law, indemnification, and liability limitation provisions should be confirmed by qualified legal counsel before the platform goes live.
Please read these Terms carefully before using Veezavee. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms contain a mandatory arbitration clause and class action waiver — see Section 22.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding contract between you and Veezavee LLC ("Veezavee," "we," "us," "our"), governing your access to and use of the Veezavee platform, website at JoinVeezavee.com, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By creating an account, submitting an application, or using any Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Community Guidelines, and any additional policies incorporated by reference.

Veezavee reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility Requirements

Access to Veezavee is strictly limited to individuals who meet all of the following:

  • Age: 18 years of age or older. No exceptions.
  • Residency: Current legal resident of the United States.
  • Criminal History: No felony conviction, sex crime, or crime involving violence; not a registered sex offender in any jurisdiction.
  • Legal Standing: Not prohibited from using online dating services by any law or court order.
  • Legal Capacity: Legally capable of entering a binding contract.
  • No Prior Bans: Not previously banned or removed from Veezavee.
  • Single Account: One account per person only.
By using Veezavee, you represent that you meet all eligibility requirements. If Veezavee discovers otherwise, your account will be immediately terminated without refund and may be reported to appropriate authorities.

3. Account Registration & Application Process

Veezavee is an exclusive, application-based platform. Access is not guaranteed to any applicant. Veezavee reserves the sole right to approve or deny any application for any reason at its sole discretion.

3.1 Application Submission

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information in your application. Submitting false information is grounds for immediate permanent termination.

3.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You may not share your account with any other person.

3.3 Identity Verification

Identity verification is available to all members via government-issued photo ID and a live selfie, processed by our third-party partner Veriff. Verified members receive a Verified badge, enhanced visibility, and increased trust with other members. Verification does not constitute a background check and does not verify criminal history.

Fee — Free tier: Members on the Free plan may complete identity verification for a one-time, non-refundable fee of $4.99, charged at the time of verification initiation.

Fee — Paid subscribers: Members on the Founding, Premium, or Elite plans receive one identity verification session at no additional cost. However, to protect against fraudulent use of platform refund windows, paid subscribers must wait 8 days from the date their subscription is first activated before initiating free identity verification. This waiting period is non-waivable. Verification initiated after 8 days is included in the plan at no charge.

Non-refundable: Once a verification session has been initiated (i.e., you have been redirected to the Veriff portal), the associated fee or plan credit is consumed and is non-refundable regardless of outcome, including if the verification is declined, abandoned, or expires.

4. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination, legal action, or reporting to law enforcement:

4.1 Identity & Misrepresentation

  • Impersonating any person or misrepresenting your identity, age, or location
  • Posting photos of anyone other than yourself, or photos that don't accurately represent your current appearance
  • Creating a false persona or fake profile for any purpose

4.2 Prohibited Communications

  • Sending harassing, threatening, or abusive messages
  • Sexual harassment, stalking, or intimidation in any form
  • Soliciting money, gifts, or financial assistance from any user
  • Advertising, promoting, or soliciting business products or services
  • Sharing or requesting explicit sexual content
  • Catfishing, grooming, love bombing, or any form of psychological manipulation
  • Attempting to move conversations off-platform to circumvent safety features

4.3 Prohibited Content

  • Content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or obscene
  • Content infringing any third party's intellectual property rights
  • Uploading pre-recorded video in violation of the live-capture-only policy
  • Attempting to download, screenshot, or record any other user's content
  • Any content involving minors in a sexual or inappropriate context

4.4 Technical Prohibitions

  • Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Platform
  • Attempting to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security feature or DRM protection
  • Attempting to reverse engineer or extract source code from the Platform
  • Using VPNs or proxies to circumvent geographic restrictions
  • Creating multiple accounts
Veezavee cooperates fully with law enforcement and will report activities that appear to involve illegal conduct, including sexual exploitation, fraud, or threats of violence.

5. Video Content Policy

5.1 Live Capture Requirement

All video introductions and video messages must be recorded live within the Veezavee Platform at the time of recording. Uploading pre-recorded video files is strictly prohibited.

5.2 Content Ownership & License

You retain ownership of all video and photo content you create ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Veezavee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Platform. This license terminates when you delete your content or account, subject to reasonable retention periods.

5.3 No Download Policy — Zero Tolerance

Downloading, recording, screenshotting, or any copying of another user's video or photo content is strictly prohibited. Veezavee employs DRM technology to prevent unauthorized copying. Any attempt to circumvent these protections is a material breach of these Terms and may violate federal law including the DMCA.

5.4 Content Standards

All video and photo content must depict only yourself, must not contain nudity or explicit content, must not depict illegal activity, and must accurately represent your current appearance.

5.5 Video Freshness Policy

Video introductions are subject to periodic refresh requirements. Failure to comply may result in profile suspension until the requirement is fulfilled.

6. Subscriptions, Payments & Refund Policy

6.1 Subscription Plans

Veezavee offers paid subscription plans as described on the Platform. All fees are in USD. Subscriptions are personal and non-transferable.

6.2 Billing & Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. By providing payment information, you authorize Veezavee to charge your payment method for all applicable fees.

6.3 Founding Member Rate

The Founding Member rate ($19.99/mo) is available only to the first 1,000 approved subscribers and is locked for the duration of continuous active membership. This rate is personal and non-transferable. The rate lock terminates if: (a) you cancel your subscription for any period; (b) you violate these Terms; or (c) after three (3) consecutive years, at which point pricing may be renegotiated with at least 30 days' advance notice.

6.4 Free Trial

Where a free trial is offered, your payment method will be charged the applicable fee at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial expires. Only one free trial is permitted per person, household, payment method, or device.

6.5 Refund Policy

All subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. This includes cases where your account is terminated for violations, you cancel before the end of a billing period, or you are dissatisfied with the Platform.

6.5.1 Identity Verification Fee — Non-Refundable

The $4.99 identity verification fee (applicable to Free-tier members) is strictly non-refundable once a verification session has been initiated. This fee covers the cost of third-party biometric processing and cannot be recovered regardless of verification outcome.

For paid subscribers, the included identity verification benefit is consumed upon session initiation and cannot be refunded, credited, or transferred if the subscriber subsequently cancels, downgrades, or if their verification is unsuccessful.

8-day waiting period: Paid subscribers who cancel their subscription and seek a refund through their app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) within the applicable refund window will not receive a refund of any identity verification session already initiated. Veezavee will not initiate identity verification for paid subscribers until 8 days after the subscription start date. This policy exists to prevent fraudulent verification sessions initiated in contemplation of a refund request.

6.6 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by emailing hello@joinveezavee.com with subject "Cancel My Veezavee Subscription." Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6.7 Price Changes

Veezavee reserves the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

Our collection, use, and handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described there.

Government ID documents submitted for identity verification are processed by our third-party verification partner. Veezavee does not store raw identity documents on its servers following verification. By creating an account, you consent to receive transactional communications by email and SMS. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

Biometric Data Consent: If you choose to complete optional identity verification or record a live video introduction, you expressly consent to the collection, storage, and use of biometric identifiers (including facial geometry data) as disclosed in our Privacy Policy, Section 2.4. This consent is obtained via an in-app consent prompt before any biometric data is collected. You may decline verification at any time; doing so will not affect your access to the platform, though your profile will not display a Verified badge. Veezavee does not sell biometric identifiers and will destroy them within the timeframes specified in the Privacy Policy.

8. Safety, Interactions & Personal Responsibility

Veezavee does not conduct background checks on all members and cannot guarantee the accuracy of any profile or the behavior of any user. Members who meet in person do so entirely at their own risk.

You are solely responsible for all interactions with other users. Veezavee strongly encourages you to:

  • Never share your home address, workplace, financial information, or Social Security Number with other users
  • Meet in-person connections for the first time in public places
  • Tell a trusted friend or family member where you are going and who you are meeting
  • Never send money, gifts, or financial assistance to anyone met through Veezavee
  • Report any suspicious or inappropriate behavior immediately using the in-app reporting feature
  • Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, it probably is

Veezavee reviews all reports within 48 hours but cannot guarantee any particular outcome or prevent all harm.

9. No Guarantee of Results

Veezavee makes no representations that use of the Platform will result in any match, connection, date, relationship, or other desired outcome. The Platform is a communication tool only. Subscription fees are paid for access to the Platform, not for any guaranteed result.

10. Intellectual Property

All Platform content that is not User Content — including the Veezavee name, logo, trademark, design, software, and all other proprietary materials — is owned by or licensed to Veezavee LLC and is protected by US and international intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for its intended personal, non-commercial purpose only.

10.1 DMCA Policy

To submit a DMCA notice, contact hello@joinveezavee.com with: your contact information; identification of the allegedly infringed work; identification and location of the infringing material; a statement of good faith belief; a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury; and your signature. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

11. Third-Party Services

Veezavee integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Agora (live video), Twilio (SMS), SightEngine (video moderation), AWS (cloud hosting), Brevo (email), and Supabase (database). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Veezavee is not responsible for any third-party service outages, data breaches, or discontinuation of services.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Veezavee Platform and all Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, or reliability. Veezavee does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any user profile is accurate or authentic.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veezavee LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform, any user's conduct, or any personal interaction with a user met through the Platform. Veezavee's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to Veezavee in the twelve months preceding the claim; or (b) $100.00.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Veezavee LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: your use or misuse of the Platform; your User Content; your violation of these Terms or applicable law; any dispute between you and another user; or any misrepresentation in your application or profile.

15. Account Termination & Suspension

Veezavee reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms, harmful conduct, misrepresentation, or any conduct deemed harmful to the Platform or community.

Upon termination for cause, no refund will be issued. Upon termination without cause, you will receive a pro-rated refund of prepaid fees for unused periods. Attempting to circumvent a ban by creating a new account is strictly prohibited.

16. Content Moderation

Veezavee uses automated technology and human review to monitor content. We reserve the right to review, screen, edit, or remove any User Content at any time and for any reason without notice. Moderation decisions are made at our sole discretion. Non-exercise of this right does not constitute assumption of responsibility for User Content.

17. Anti-Discrimination Policy

Veezavee does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law in its application review, membership decisions, or enforcement actions. Veezavee welcomes all adults regardless of orientation, gender identity, or background.

18. Children's Privacy

Veezavee is strictly for adults aged 18 and older. If Veezavee discovers a user is under 18, the account will be immediately terminated, all data deleted, and the matter may be reported to authorities as required by law. If you believe a minor is using the Platform, report it immediately to hello@joinveezavee.com.

19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas (or the state of Veezavee LLC formation), without regard to conflict of law provisions. Subject to the mandatory arbitration provisions below, any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

20. Limitation of Time to File Claims

Any claim arising from your use of the Platform must be filed within one (1) year after the claim arose. Claims filed after this period are permanently barred.

21. Severability & Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. No waiver of any breach constitutes a waiver of any subsequent breach.

22. Mandatory Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

This section contains a mandatory arbitration clause and class action waiver. It affects your legal rights. Please read carefully.

22.1 Agreement to Arbitrate

Except for disputes qualifying for small claims court, you and Veezavee agree that all disputes, claims, or controversies arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration before a single arbitrator pursuant to AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitrator's decision is final and binding.

22.2 Class Action Waiver

You and Veezavee agree that each may bring claims only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, representative, or collective action.

22.3 Opt-Out Right

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by sending written notice to hello@joinveezavee.com with subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" including your full name and email. Opting out does not affect any other provision of these Terms.
